Recently, I have been observing a trend in the auto body industry that concerns me and I feel is affecting you the customer in a very detrimental way. As a result, I would like to share the following information with you so you can make the best decision possible to maintain the value of your vehicle and more importantly to ensure the safety of you and your family when it matters most...the moment of impact in an accident. Choosing a shop really matters when it comes to repairing your damaged automobile. You need to research into the shop you choose to see if that shop will be using factory or aftermarket parts. Cheap or poor repairs can affect your vehicle’s safety restraint system. A system cautiously designed to help save your life when you get in an accident. Before going to a collision repair facility it would be wise to go over the following facts.

1. Insurance companies are pushing hard for consumers to go to their Direct Repair Shops.

2. You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice, and you are not required by law to acquire more than one estimate or appraisal.

3. Generally to become a direct repair shop you under most circumstances must agree to make concessions, such as, using after market parts instead of factory parts.

4. Your vehicle is most likely the second largest investment you make in life. Maintain its value and your safety by having it repaired professionally.
